Evaluation of the extended list of requirements - D2.10

This report  describes the  progress  of  the  research  communities  towards  the  integration  of  INDIGO service components into their Case Studies. It provides the mappings of the communities’ requirements to the INDIGO service  components in the first release. It clarifies, among the  initial  list  of  the requirements gathered by Task 2.1 and Task 2.2, what has already been addressed in the first release of INDIGO and what will be included in a future release. In addition, information on an extended list of requirements is provided.

First release of a Science Gateway and release of the selected mobile apps - D6.3

This deliverable contains the technical description of the first release of the Science Gateway and Mobile Application based on the Open Mobile Toolkit developed within the INDIGO-­DataCloud project. Additionally, the first supported use-­case, requiring the analysis of climate data, is presented to show how the application is integrated in the Science Gateway. Also the evolution of the Open Mobile Toolkit (that is a base for the mobile apps) is summarised.

REPORT ON DISSEMINATION EFFORT AND IMPACT - D2.5

This report covers the experience on dissemination along the first  half  of the project, including detailed  metrics  on the  impact based on direct  indicators  (website,  participation in events, in particular training  and specific  workshops) and indirect ones (references to INDIGO solutions in  different  research communities’ websites, publications, etc.). The consortium  made a large effort to integrate the  INDIGO  solutions with real  Case  Studies, and this report includ es community-specific plans on how to exploit and disseminate this results along the second half of the project

FIRST TOOLKITS PROTOTYPE EVALUATION REPORT - D6.2

This  deliverable  contains  the  first  report  on  the  development  of  the INDIGO  WP6  toolkit,  the INDIGO extension  of  the  selected  scientific  workflow  services and  interface  extensions  for  scientific data  analysis.  It describes  the  evaluation  of  the  developed  toolkits,  basing  on  the  first  proof  of  concept  implementations  done  for  the  two  use  scenario.

TECHNOLOGICAL METHODS OF INTEGRATION WITH OTHER E-INFRASTRUCTURES - D5.3

This deliverable presents the results of the analysis of technological possibilities for the integration between INDIGO‑DataCloud, major infrastructures and other platforms including EGI, EUDAT, PRACE, Helix Nebula and Virtual Observatory. Each of the infrastructure integration possibilities has been analysed by partners with best experience and connection with the respective infrastructures. The document is divided into sections covering aspects related to integration with each of the considered infrastructures, providing separate subsections on specific integration areas: authentication and authorization, computational and job submission, storage and data management as well as user interfaces.

CONFIRMATION OF SUPPORT TO INITIAL REQUIREMENTS AND EXTENDED LIST - D2.4

The main purpose of this report is to confirm, from the point of view of the Research Communities that their initial requirements, analysed in WP2 and reported in Deliverable D2.1, have been taken into account in the overall software design, proposed by the JRA work packages for INDIGO solutions.

Using an Agile framework, experts from each Research Community, so called “Champions”, have revised the corresponding case studies, and are able to confront their initial requirements with the solutions proposed. Moreover, using proposed methodology and tools they can also further provide an extended list of requirements, based on the evolving experience and potential interest of the communities.

SPECIFICATIONS OF USE CASES FOR TESTING AND VALIDATION PURPOSES - D2.3

This report summarizes the progress in the definition and partial implementation of use cases for test and validation of INDIGO solutions explored in Task 2.3. According to the needs and requirements from various user communities in WP2, the requirements on functionalities and resources of the scenarios for the test and validation activities in collaboration with WP3 and WP6 are proposed, and the first steps towards the implementation of uses cases are described.

GENERAL ARCHITECTURE - D1.8

This document summarizes the architectural vision of INDIGO-DataCloud. It presents a coherent view of the architecture from the point of view of solving identified shortcomings preventing researchers from using e-infrastructures in a straightforward and efficient way. Therefore, the emphasis is put on motivating and explaining the architectural choices, in light of the requirements of user communities, rather than in the very detailed explanations of all the components. Full details can be found in the EC Deliverables D4.1, D4.2, D5.1, D5.2 and D6.1.

DESIGN DOCUMENT AND WORK PLAN FOR THE PAAS ARCHITECTURE - D5.2

This document reports on the detailed architectural design and the work plan of WP5 with respect to the objectives within the INDIGO project. It  provides a  detailed  description  of  the  architecture  of  the  PaaS  layer  that  will  allow  the  scientific communities to exploit, in a powerful and high-level way, several heterogeneous computing and data e-infrastructure such as: IaaS Clouds, Helix Nebula, EGI Grid, EGI Federated Cloud, PRACE, HPC, EUDAT, etc.This document will also provide details about the work plan for the implementation of the services of the PaaS layer.

SOFTWARE DESIGN DOCUMENT FOR WP4 - D4.1

This document provides the software design for WP4 with respect to objectives within the INDIGO-DataCloud project, subsequently referred to as INDIGO. It provides State of the Art information of relevant technologies and components and elaborates on interaction between WP4 and other work packages in INDIGO, other relevant projects and bodies for standardization of interfaces, WP4 intends to incorporate. For each activity within WP4, the detailed work plan provides the partners involved, the PMs spent, a brief description of the activity and a risk assessment, if applicable.

STATE OF THE ART FOR THE TECHNOLOGIES AT THE BASE OF PAAS ARCHITECTURE - D5.1

This  document  provides  an  overview  of  technologies and  standards  related  to  the  definition  of the PaaS architecturefor INDIGO-DataCloudwith a special focus on the three main pillars: i) the PaaS core; ii) security and authorisationand, iii) unified data access.  This report provides the knowledge foundation   on   which   the   deliverable   D5.2   (Design   Document   and   work   plan   for   the   PaaS architecture) will be based. A concise summary of toolsand standards is included in order to provide an  updated  vision  of  the  state-of-the-art  regarding  the  landscapeof  PaaS  technologies.Also, recommendations for technology selections within the context of INDIGO-DataaCloud are provided.

Software architecture and work plan for WP6 - D6.1

This  initial  deliverable  of  the  INDIGO  DataCloud  work  package  6  (WP6),  presents  the  proposed  software   architecture   and   workplan   for   the   project   duration.   The   main   part   of   the   document  contains   the   Architectural   Design   for   the   WP6   of   the   INDIGO   project.   The   description  complies  with  the  Software  Design  Specification  (SDS)  standard  (IEEE  STANDARD 1016).

INITIAL REQUIREMENTS FROM RESEARCH COMMUNITIES - D2.1

This  reportsummarizes  the  findings  of  the  WP2  tasks  on  “Research  Communities  Requirements” and “Defining support to Research Data” along the first three months of the project, providinga key input to the architectural design of INDIGO-DataCloud solutions.Thisintegrated document includes a  detailed  description  of  the  Research  Communities  involved  and  of  the  Case  Studiesproposed, including  Data  Management  and  Computational  Intensive  issues.  Based  on  the  inputs  provided  by the WP2 partners, aninitial list of the requirementsfor each application has been collected, that has been used in turn to assemble a list of common requirements that has been provided as input to the discussion on the technical Architecture of INDIGO-DataCloud solutions.

DISSEMINATION PLAN - D2.2

This  report  includes  the  dissemination  plan towards  research  communities for  the project,  prepared  in T2.4,  consolidating  the  initial  plan  discussed  in  the  proposal, confirming  the  strategy  and indicators,  defining  a  calendar,  and  actions  involving  the different partners.

QUALITY PLAN - D1.2

This document outlines the basic procedures that have been set up to coordinate and follow up the progress of the project activities based on quantitative metrics. This Quality Plan will be updated at the middle of the project M15.
