INDIGO-DataCloud at the European Open Science Cloud

INDIGO’s user-oriented services, through the efficient exploitation of available resources and the integrated access to distributed data, will allow scientific communities to access data, computing and storage resources despite their type or location, preserving users to write specialized software. They will simply have to access the "big Indigo pool" and find what they are looking for. 

INDIGO-DataCloud solution for Scientists was presented on 20th January in Heidelberg, Germany, during the Helix Nebula Open Day Event, by Davide Salomoni, INFN and INDIGO-DataCloud coordinator

Presentation at the EGI Conference – Lisbon, Portugal, 20 May 2015

The EGI Conference 2015 was held in Lisbon, Portugal between 18-22 May, 2015 and was dedicated to the theme "Engaging the Research Community towards an Open Science Commons". The conference gave participants with a unique overview of the status of the art of the EGI solutions and the latest developments in research infrastructure and cyber-infrastructures. The event showcased a number of international projects that will drive innovation and technological development of distributed high throughput computing and cloud service provisioning for the European Research Area. INDIGO - Datacloud was among these projects, EGI.eu being also one of the members of the consortium.
